This page is a collection of resources for people and organizations that are or want to be involved in one or more operations in the 2030 Census. There are filters that help finding resources you are looking for. You can filter by the kind of operation you are looking for, a filter that let you find resources from the Census Bureau or other types of organizations, and a third filter for the type of content, a webinar, document, etc. A click on the resource title or the list of tags attached to the resource opens a brief description. This first version of the plan documents the high-level design for the next census. Future iterations will describe the work in more detail, including the final operations for the 2030 Census. Community Outreach Toolkit (2020 document) LinkA quickstart guide to tailoring census outreach efforts for the people you serve 2030 Strategic Action Plan (Colorado State Demography Office) LinkThe SDO 2030 Census Action Plan fulfills the requirments of CO House Bill 19-1239, which requires the Department of Local Affairs and the Governor’s Office to develop a strategic action plan for funding, outreach, and education to promote a successful census count every ten years. The first strategic plan is required to be developed by May 1, 2026 (section 24-32-126, C.R.S.), and then subsequently published by May 1st every 10 years thereafter. This report contains the State of Colorado’s strategic action plan for the 2030 Census. |
