Ground Yourself          Look Beyond          Connect

The Office of Student and Career Development, 172 MVR, is organized to assist students as they develop skills and strategies to manage and negotiate the complex academic, social and personal challenges of a dynamic and rigorous educational environment. Our office combines academic planning and career counseling to encourage students to expand their knowledge of themselves, their academic choices and career options.

With the guidance and knowledge of our professional counseling staff in Human Ecology, students:

  • learn to navigate college and university resources
  • clarify and integrate academic and career goals
  • are encouraged to collaborate with our staff and advising faculty in the development of their academic planning
  • become engaged in and responsible for their own personal and career development
  • understand university and college policies and procedures
